Orca’s polymer concrete products are an Australian first, manufactured locally using recycled glass feedstock instead of virgin quarried materials. The recycled material acts as a bonded, high compressive strength filler, optimising the product’s design to create a stronger drainage channel.
Polymer concrete channels offer a high strength alternative to Portland cement products, offering significant weight advantages and delivering manual handling benefits.
A trench drain (also called channel drain, line drain, slot drain, linear drain or strip drain) is a specific type of drain containing a dominant trough or channel-shaped body that form a line of trench. It is used for the rapid evacuation of surface water or for the containment of utility lines or chemical spills.
Trench drains are usually employed when there is a large outdoor opening space, along edges of buildings for water protection and areas that need to manage excess water.
