It’s great to see Melbourne becoming its vibrant self again & we’re proud to have partnered with Citywide Service Solutions on several projects across the city. Over 14 kilometres of bike lane separators are now installed throughout Melbourne’s CBD, with tramway separators and vehicle safety separators also in use. To date we have supplied over 15,000 vehicle safety separators for installation and diverted over 500 tonne of glass from landfill.
The products are all made locally, using patented technology that uses glass destined for landfill to manufacture recycled polymer concrete traffic management solutions. Each product includes a high percentage of recycled glass – up to 80% of the dry components of Orca’s polymer concrete. And the benefits keep on coming. Our unique process allows all types of waste glass to be utilised and we use carbon neutral manufacturing techniques.
