Orca’s range of polymer concrete drainage and electrical inspection pits are an Australian first, manufactured locally using recycled glass feedstock instead of virgin quarried minerals. The recycled material acts as a bonded, high compressive strength filler, optimising the product’s design to create a stronger polymer concrete drainage pit.

Polymer concrete pits offer a high strength alternative to Portland cement products, delivering significant weight advantages and manual handling benefits. Our polymer concrete pits are available in four sizes, with a range of depths plus 300mm extension risers

Pits are available with galvanized steel pit grates, featuring locking systems for secure access. Choose from two profile designs, carrying a P5 slip rating and Class A to Class D load ratings. Select a standard grate in galvanized steel for predictable corrosion performance or Orca’s heelguard profile for safe pedestrian access. Our heelguard grate is designed to prevent trip hazards, ensuring that high heels, bare feet and mobility aids can travel comfortably over the surface.

Manufactured to Australian and European quality standards our drainage pits work with Orca’s galvanized steel and ductile iron grates.
