Orca’s bike lane safety separators are an innovative modular traffic management solution manufactured in Australia, using up to 80% recycled glass content. The Island 300 range is ideal for creating dedicated bicycle corridors to buffer cyclists from motor vehicles, for increased road safety.
Manufactured using patented polymer concrete technology, the Island 300 range is engineered for performance. The modular components are designed for rapid deployment, to reconfigure existing roadways quickly and with minimal traffic disruption. Durable and low maintenance, this range delivers the structural integrity to perform under the most punishing conditions.
Orca’s Island 300 range delivers up to three times the compressive strength of concrete, providing structural integrity for permanent fixings, plus the flexibility of a modular solution that can be relocated and re-used as roadway requirements change. Orca bike lane safety separators offer precise traffic delineation. Featuring two modular components, in a slimline design that’s 300mm wide and 150mm high. Islands can be constructed at a minimum length of 2.3 metres or expanded, using multiples of the 1.0 metre standard island sections.
The Island 300 range features a unique two-sided design. The elevated profile defines traffic spaces and prevents motorists from entering the bike lanes, to improve cyclist safety. They are ideal for use on streets where higher traffic volumes and speeds warrant greater separation of vehicles and cyclists. The modular components of Orca’s Island 300 range provide the flexibility to suit a wide range of roadway requirements and can be used in conjunction with the Island 800 and Island 1000 ranges.
Orca’s bike lane safety separators are manufactured at our carbon neutral facilities and designed as an infinitely recyclable product.
The Island 300 range is a highly effective traffic management solution that provides cyclists with greater safety, connectivity and inclusion. Island 300 products buffer cyclists from motor vehicles and offer ease of installation, versatility, structural integrity and a low maintenance solution for increased road safety.

Our Australian manufacturing facilities use patented technology to produce value-added components by recycling glass that is extracted from landfill. We produce recycled bike lane separators for greater road safety, engineered stone pavers and grates for civil and commercial spaces, and covers, pits and channels for electrical and drainage installations. Each product within our range utilises up to 80% recycled glass content, and are manufactured locally at carbon neutral facilities, to reduce our environmental impact.
